The latest in resistance welding technology, the traditional pneumatic operating cylinder is replaced by a servo motor connected directly into a driver unit which controls speed, point pressure and stroke. This style of gun offers a more flexible approach to welding. As of January 2006, Obara has in excess of 17800 servo guns in various productions plants around the world.
